BREAK IN SERVICES:
Breaking in a motorcycle on a dynamometer can help the engine run more smoothly and efficiently through precisely controlled oscillation loading of the engine via eddy brake technology. A dyno can be a superior method for perfect break in practices over driving inconsistent roads and highways, allowing the engine to run through heat cycles at different RPMs in a precision manner. While most companies will require you to incur the cost of purchasing and installing a street tire for break in services, Rottweiler Performance maintains our own fleet of wheel and tire combos for most KTM, Husky & GasGas motorcycles, saving our customers the time, hassle and money of worrying about those details. That’s the Rottweiler difference.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Drop off Time: Please make sure the bike is dropped off by no later than 8:30am on the day of your appointment. You can also drop off up to 3 business days prior to your appointment if needed.
- Bike Condition: Your bike must be in good working condition as stated by you. Please note that we reserve the right to deny service upon inspection at our facility if the bike does not meet this requirement / is unsafe to operate.
- Clean Bike: Your motorcycle must be clean and free of any mud/dirt. A $150 wash charge will be added to any dirty bikes.
- Rekluse Clutch: Please be aware that we can not perform any Dyno work / tuning with bikes equipped with a Rekluse auto clutch. For more details on this please reach out to us.
- Head Pipe for AFR/O2: For Dyno services we do need to install a wideband O2 sensor in the header. If your motorcycle has a stock header, we have one here we can use. If it has a different header, we will need to either drill it and use a nutsert or weld on an 18mm bung. If welded there will be an additional charge of $195 for the bung and labor for drilling and welding.
- Transportation: All motorcycles must be delivered on a trailer or in a truck. They cannot be ridden in or out of our facility and must not have a license plate.
- Fuel Level: Your motorcycle must be full of fuel upon drop-off. A fuel surcharge of $20 per gallon will be applied if additional fuel is needed.
- Fuel Type for Mapping: If you require a custom map for a fuel type other than 91 pump fuel, you are responsible for providing your own fuel.
